# Tracksuit vs HubSpot AEO (2026): Brand Tracking With AI or a $50 Daily Tracker?

Tracksuit is adding AI visibility to human brand tracking. HubSpot AEO tracks prompts daily for $50 a month. Here is what each sells today, and where Mentionova fits.

Tracksuit and HubSpot both bought their way into AI visibility. Tracksuit, a brand tracking platform, acquired Hall in July 2026. HubSpot announced its deal for XFunnel in October 2025 and now sells HubSpot AEO. The two products are not at the same stage. HubSpot AEO is on sale today at $50 a month. Tracksuit's AI visibility feature has a full waitlist and no public price. Every claim below was read on the vendors' own pages on 4 November 2026 and is linked in the sources. We make Mentionova, a third option, and we say where it fits and where it does not.

## What are the key takeaways?

- **HubSpot AEO is live; Tracksuit's AI visibility is not on sale yet.** Tracksuit said AI visibility "will begin rolling out to Tracksuit customers this year." Its waitlist page now reads "The waitlist is now full!"
- **HubSpot AEO costs $50 a month, or $45 billed annually,** for 25 prompts run daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, with no other HubSpot subscription required and a 28-day free trial.
- **Tracksuit publishes no price.** Its pricing URL redirects to the homepage, and both the homepage and the waitlist page point to "Request a demo".
- **They answer different questions.** Tracksuit measures brand health in people and plans to put AI next to it. HubSpot AEO measures how often AI answers name you for specific prompts and tells you what content to change.
- **Mentionova sits closer to HubSpot AEO than to Tracksuit.** It tracks buying questions on up to six engines and turns gaps into scored briefs, CMS drafts and Reddit reply drafts, from $99 a month billed annually.

## How do Tracksuit and HubSpot AEO compare at a glance?

HubSpot AEO is a prompt tracker with sentiment, share of voice, citation analysis and recommendations, sold standalone or inside Marketing Hub. Tracksuit is an always-on brand tracker for consumer brands that is adding AI visibility from the Hall acquisition. The table shows what each vendor publishes today, read 4 November 2026.

| | Tracksuit (with Hall) | HubSpot AEO (with XFunnel) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Deal | Acquired Hall, announced 20 July 2026 | Agreed to acquire XFunnel, announced 31 October 2025 |
| Core product | Always-on brand tracking for consumer brands | Answer engine optimization tool inside HubSpot |
| AI visibility status | Rolling out to Tracksuit customers; waitlist full | On sale, standalone or in Marketing Hub |
| Public price | None; pricing URL redirects to homepage | $50/mo, $45/mo billed annually |
| Prompts | Not published | 25 on the standalone plan, run daily |
| Engines | Not published | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity; Claude, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews in a beta |

| Human brand data | Yes, the core product | No |
| Content generation | Not published | Blog and social posts from recommendations on Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise |

Where a cell says "Not published", the vendor has not released that detail on its own pages. We do not fill the gap with guesses.

## What happened to Hall and XFunnel?

Tracksuit announced on 20 July 2026 that it had acquired Hall, a Sydney-based startup that measures how brands show up inside AI platforms. HubSpot announced on 31 October 2025 that it would acquire XFunnel and integrate it "natively into our marketing products." Both buyers turned an AI visibility startup into a feature of a larger platform.

The details each buyer published:

| Question | Tracksuit and Hall | HubSpot and XFunnel |
| --- | --- | --- |
| What did the startup do? | "Measures how brands show up inside AI platforms" | "An exceptional platform built for this new AEO landscape" |
| Who joined? | Hall's full team, including founder Kai Forsyth, who leads product direction for AI visibility | The XFunnel team, per HubSpot's announcement |
| What happens to the product? | AI visibility added to Tracksuit's brand tracking product | Integrated into HubSpot's marketing products |
| Can new customers buy it? | Waitlist, now full | Yes, as HubSpot AEO |
| Is the old site live? | usehall.com shows a farewell note dated 21 July 2026, a "Log in to Hall" link and a waitlist button | xfunnel.ai is online; its main buttons read "Sign up for updates" |

Our [Hall alternatives](https://mentionova.com/blog/hall-alternatives) and [XFunnel alternatives](https://mentionova.com/blog/xfunnel-alternatives) posts cover each deal in more depth.

## What does Tracksuit's AI visibility promise?

Tracksuit promises one view of brand health across "human minds and AI models," compared against competitors over time, "in plain language and grounded in marketing science." Its press release says customers will see how their brand appears across AI platforms, how it compares to competitors, and how that visibility changes. It has not published engines, prompt counts, cadence or price.

What Tracksuit has said on its own pages:

- **The positioning.** The waitlist page says current AI visibility tools "are built for SEO teams, not brand marketers," and that Tracksuit's version is "built for brand marketers, not search engineers."
- **The thesis.** "AI learns your brand from what the world already says about it," and "the more you're known, trusted and talked about, the more AI recommends you."
- **The status.** "The waitlist is now full! Our team are heads down building and we'll share more soon."
- **The base product.** Tracksuit calls itself "an always-on brand tracking platform" for measuring brand performance and demonstrating ROI. The press release says it is trusted by over 1,000 consumer brands and operates in 25 markets.

Hall's farewell note explains the logic: "A mention score is only meaningful next to what real people think." Kai Forsyth said short-term tactics "can spike a brand's AI visibility," but brand-building work is what moves the needle.

## What does HubSpot AEO include today?

HubSpot AEO tracks 25 prompts daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for $50 a month, or $45 a month billed annually, which is 2,500 answers a month. It includes a brand visibility score, sentiment from -100 to +100, competitor share of voice, citation analysis, prompt suggestions and prioritized recommendations. HubSpot's CMS is not required.

The limits, from HubSpot's knowledge base:

| Subscription | Answers a month | Prompts, run daily | Default engines |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| HubSpot AEO free trial | 2,500 | 25 | 3 |
| HubSpot AEO | 2,500 | 25 | 3 |
| Marketing Hub Professional | 2,500 | 25 | 3 |
| Marketing Hub Enterprise | 5,000 | 50 | 3 |

Three details change the real cost:

1. **More engines use more answers.** Claude, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews sit in the AEO Multi-Engine beta. Tracking on all six uses twice as many answers per prompt.
2. **Capacity packs are for Marketing Hub.** HubSpot's catalog lists the AEO Answers Limit Increase at $20 a month for 10 more prompts and 1,000 more answers, available to Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise.
3. **Each brand is a separate instance.** HubSpot sells one $50-a-month AEO instance per brand.

Recommendations come from citation patterns across your tracked prompts, and a site audit flags content and technical issues. Generating blog posts from a recommendation is listed only for Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise, and it uses HubSpot Credits.

## Is brand tracking the same as AI visibility tracking?

No. Brand tracking measures what people think of your brand: awareness, consideration and perception, tracked over time against competitors. AI visibility tracking measures what AI engines say when someone asks a buying question: whether you are named, where you rank and which sources the engine cites. Tracksuit is starting from the first and adding the second.

The two answer different questions:

| Question | Brand tracking (Tracksuit's core) | AI visibility tracking (HubSpot AEO, Mentionova) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Who is measured? | People in your market | AI engines answering prompts |
| Typical metric | Awareness, consideration, perception | Mention rate, position, share of voice, citations |
| What changes the number? | Brand-building over months | Brand-building plus the pages and threads engines cite |
| What it tells you to do | Adjust strategy and campaigns | Create, update or earn coverage on specific sources |

Tracksuit's bet is that the two belong in one report. HubSpot's bet is that AI visibility belongs next to your CRM and content tools. If people searching "AI brand tracker" mean prompt tracking, HubSpot AEO and Mentionova are the products that exist today. Our [AI brand monitoring](https://mentionova.com/product/ai-brand-monitoring) page covers the prompt side.

**[See which AI answers name your competitors instead of you. Start a Mentionova free trial, no card.](https://app.mentionova.com/login?mode=signup&utm_source=blog&utm_medium=content&utm_campaign=tracksuit-vs-hubspot-aeo&utm_content=mid)**

## Which one should a consumer brand choose?

A consumer brand already paying for Tracksuit should ask its account team when AI visibility reaches its dashboard, and run a low-cost tracker until then. A consumer brand without Tracksuit that needs AI data now should start with a live tool. HubSpot AEO is the cheapest daily option of the two vendors in this comparison.

A simple rule:

1. **You already use Tracksuit for brand health.** Wait for the feature if a combined human-and-AI report is the goal. Track your top buying prompts elsewhere in the meantime so you have a baseline when it arrives.
2. **You use HubSpot for marketing and CRM.** HubSpot AEO is the obvious first step. On Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise, recommendations can become blog posts inside HubSpot.
3. **You use neither.** HubSpot AEO works without other HubSpot products at $50 a month. Mentionova, Peec AI, Otterly and others are the wider field; our [HubSpot AEO alternatives](https://mentionova.com/blog/hubspot-aeo-alternatives) post compares them.

## Which one should a B2B or SaaS team choose?

B2B and SaaS teams should lean toward HubSpot AEO or a dedicated tracker. Tracksuit describes itself as a platform for consumer brands, and its AI visibility feature is not yet available. Marketing Hub's CRM-based prompt suggestions and content tools suit B2B teams already running HubSpot.

Questions to settle before buying:

- **Which engines do your buyers use?** HubSpot AEO covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity by default. If Claude or Google AI Overviews matter, those need the beta and double the answers per prompt.
- **How many prompts do you need?** On HubSpot, 50 prompts come with Marketing Hub Enterprise, and capacity packs add 10 at a time on Professional or Enterprise.
- **Who will act on the gaps?** A dashboard does not change an answer. Check whether the tool drafts the page, the brief or the outreach, and on which plan.
- **How many brands?** Each extra brand on HubSpot is another $50 a month.

## Where does Mentionova fit next to Tracksuit and HubSpot AEO?

Mentionova is a dedicated AI visibility platform. Starter is $125 a month, or $99 billed annually, for 25 tracked prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google. Scale is $400, or $320 annually, for 100 prompts on six engines, adding Claude, Gemini and Reddit. It does not measure human brand perception, and it costs more than HubSpot AEO for 25 prompts.

How the three line up for a team that wants to change AI answers, not only measure them:

| | Tracksuit | HubSpot AEO | Mentionova |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Entry price | Not published | $50/mo, $45 annual | $125/mo, $99 annual |
| Entry prompts | Not published | 25, daily | 25; weekly by default, two-weekly, monthly or on demand, daily through the API |
| Engines on entry plan | Not published | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google |
| Six engines | Not published | Beta, double answers per prompt | Scale and Enterprise |
| Human brand tracking | Yes | No | No |
| Gap to content | Not published | Recommendations; posts on Marketing Hub Pro or Enterprise | Opportunities scored 0 to 100 with a brief, on every plan |
| Where drafts go | Not published | HubSpot content tools | WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Sanity, webhook, Markdown or HTML |
| Reddit | Not published | Not a tracked engine | Thread list and reply drafts on every plan; tracked engine on Scale |
| Seats | Not published | HubSpot seats | 3 team seats per brand plan |
| Trial | Demo | 28 days, no card | Free trial, no card |

What Mentionova adds, from its pricing page and docs:

- **Opportunities with briefs.** Weak prompts are scored 0 to 100 from visibility gap, reach, effort and competitive heat, and rescored nightly. Each carries a brief with the angle, the H2s to answer, the entities to name and your closest existing page.
- **Drafts, never auto-publishing.** Every CMS target receives a draft. A person reviews and publishes.
- **Reddit replies.** The Reddit tab lists threads your engines cite and drafts a reply for you to post yourself. Enriching a thread costs 5 tasks; Mentionova never posts for you.
- **AI traffic.** The GA4 connection splits sessions into ten AI referrer buckets, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and AI Overviews.

Where Mentionova loses: HubSpot AEO is cheaper, runs daily on its standard plan and has the longer published trial. Tracksuit measures human brand perception, which neither HubSpot AEO nor Mentionova does.

## Why isn't my brand in ChatGPT, and which tool shows why?

ChatGPT names the brands that appear in the pages it retrieves and in what the web already says about them. If competitors own the review sites, listicles and forum threads it reads, they get the mention. HubSpot AEO and Mentionova both show the cited sources per prompt. Tracksuit has not published how its version will report sources.

How each tool answers "why not us?":

- **HubSpot AEO** breaks citations down by domain, page, source type (owned, competitor, third-party, social, affiliate) and content type, then turns the patterns into recommendations such as a new blog post, an updated page or outreach to third-party sites.
- **Mentionova** shows, per prompt and engine, who was named instead of you, your position, the sentiment and every cited source, then lists the gap as an opportunity with one of eight recommendations, from Create content to Authority mentions.
- **Tracksuit's thesis** is that the deeper cause is brand strength: the better known and trusted you are, the more AI recommends you.

All three views can be true at once. Before you buy anything, run the manual check in [how to check if ChatGPT mentions your brand](https://mentionova.com/blog/how-to-check-if-chatgpt-mentions-your-brand).

## How do you test before you commit?

HubSpot AEO has a 28-day free trial with 25 prompts and no credit card. Mentionova offers a free trial on every paid plan with no card. Tracksuit offers a demo, and its AI visibility waitlist is full. Run the same 10 buying questions in the two live tools for two weeks and compare.

A two-week test:

1. **Day 1.** Write 10 unbranded buying questions, such as "best \[category\] for \[use case\]". Add them to HubSpot AEO and to a Mentionova trial.
2. **Days 2 to 10.** Note who each tool says is named instead of you, and which sources each engine cites. Answers vary run to run, so look for patterns, not single results.
3. **Day 11.** Pick the biggest gap. Open HubSpot's recommendation and Mentionova's opportunity brief side by side.
4. **Day 14.** Ask which output your team can ship this week. If you are a Tracksuit customer, ask your account team when AI visibility reaches your account.

## What else do people ask about Tracksuit and HubSpot AEO?

### Did Tracksuit buy Hall?

Yes. Tracksuit announced the acquisition of Hall on 20 July 2026. Hall's full team joined Tracksuit, and founder Kai Forsyth leads product direction for AI visibility. Hall's site now shows a farewell note, a login link for existing users and a waitlist button.

### How much does Tracksuit's AI visibility cost?

Tracksuit has not published a price. Its pricing URL redirects to the homepage, and the AI visibility waitlist page, which says the waitlist is full, offers a demo request instead.

### How much does HubSpot AEO cost?

$50 a month, or $45 a month billed annually, for 25 prompts run daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. No other HubSpot subscription is required. Each additional brand is a separate $50 instance.

### Is HubSpot AEO the old XFunnel?

HubSpot announced its agreement to acquire XFunnel on 31 October 2025 and said XFunnel would be integrated into its marketing products. HubSpot's AEO page names the XFunnel acquisition as part of how it built its AEO tools.

### Does HubSpot AEO track Claude and Google AI Overviews?

Yes, through the AEO Multi-Engine beta, which adds Claude, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. Tracking on all six engines uses twice as many answers per prompt, so it draws down the monthly answer allowance faster.

### Can I use HubSpot AEO without HubSpot's CMS?

Yes. HubSpot says AEO tracks how your brand appears in AI answers wherever your website is hosted. Generating blog posts from recommendations requires Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise and HubSpot Credits.

### Is there an alternative to both that drafts the fix?

Mentionova tracks buying questions on up to six engines, scores each gap with a brief, pushes drafts to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost or Sanity and drafts Reddit replies. Starter is $99 a month billed annually, and every paid plan starts with a free trial, no card.

**[Measure the gap and get the brief to close it. Start a Mentionova free trial, no card.](https://app.mentionova.com/login?mode=signup&utm_source=blog&utm_medium=content&utm_campaign=tracksuit-vs-hubspot-aeo&utm_content=close)**
