About Mentionova
Built by operators, not observers.
Mentionova came out of GTM 8020, a go-to-market group that had already run organic growth and AI-search programmes for more than 120 brands. We were doing the work by hand — reading answers, logging who got named, chasing the sources behind them — and nothing on the market could tell us whether an engine had actually recommended a client. So we started writing the thing that could.

Why it exists
One question. Six different answers.
This is the wall we kept hitting. Ask the engines the same buying question on the same afternoon and they disagree about who belongs in the answer — and about whether you belong in it at all. A tool that watches one engine is reporting a sixth of the story with full confidence.
Three name you, three don't, and the three that do can't agree on where you sit. Averaging that into one score hides the only thing worth knowing: which engine to go and fix.

What we believe
Six positions the product argues for.
- 01
Six engines, or you're guessing.
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google's AI Overviews and Reddit answer the same question differently, and they move on different days. A number drawn from one of them is a sample size of one.
- 02
Being named is the outcome.
The click is optional now — the engine answers and the buyer acts on what it said. So we measure the mention and the citation underneath it, not the ranking that used to stand in for both.
- 03
Show the arithmetic.
Every figure we put in front of you says what it assumed and how it was built. That's why the calculators print their inputs: a number you can't defend in the meeting you carry it into isn't worth showing you.
- 04
Agents draft. People decide.
A hundred-odd agents do the reading, the research and the first draft around the clock. Nothing is published, posted or sent until a person with their name on it says yes.
- 05
Disclose, always.
Where we help you answer a thread, the reply says which brand it comes from. We'd rather be ignored in public than useful in disguise.
- 06
We'd rather lose the sale than round up.
When a claim on this site outran what the product actually does, it came down — we've done exactly that, more than once. The same instinct is why the app meters what it meters and writes the limits down.
The other half
And what we won't do.
A short list, kept short on purpose. Each one costs us something.
No astroturfing
We won't write a reply that hides who it's from, and we won't run accounts on your behalf. Disclosure is in the draft before you ever see it.
No silent publishing
Nothing reaches your site or a forum without a person approving it, however confident the agent was. Automation ends at the draft.
No unlimited anything
We don't sell a word we can't meter. Runs, seats and workspaces have numbers attached, and the numbers are in the docs rather than the footnotes.
No black-box score
Every figure traces back to an answer we captured, on a date, from a named engine, with the sources it cited. If we can't show you the receipt, we don't show you the number.
What came of it
The part that isn't a promise.
192%
jump in clicks
“In three months we hit 10k organic impressions a day, a 192% jump in clicks, and 170 LLM sessions a month. I recommend it to all my clients.”

Matteo Tittarelli
B2B GTM Advisor, Genesys Growth
3×
inbound leads & AI search traffic
“In two months we tripled our inbound leads and AI search traffic. Our pages and schema were rebuilt so LLMs can actually parse and cite us, and we went deep on the questions our buyers really ask. Buyers start their research in ChatGPT and Perplexity now — and we show up.”

Connor Nowinski
COO, 11x
3
answer engines now naming them
“We now show up in ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity when buyers research AI agent security — with the content that defines our category.”

Jiquan Ngiam
Co-Founder, MintMCP
Who's behind it
An operator group that kept its day job.
Mentionova is built by GTM 8020 — go-to-market operators across SEO, growth, paid, content, RevOps and analytics. The group was running AI-search programmes for clients long before there was a product to sell, and it still does.
That's the whole reason the platform looks the way it does. Every screen in it started as something we needed on a Tuesday for a client who wanted to know why an engine had stopped naming them.
