Perplexity rank tracker: your place among the sources it cites.

A Perplexity rank tracker asks Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, on a schedule, and records where your site appears among the numbered sources in each answer. Because Perplexity shows its sources inline, the source list is the ranking that matters: holding [1] or [2] puts your page in front of the reader, while missing from the list means the answer was built on someone else's page. Mentionova logs the number, the trend and every other source.

Perplexity searches the web for each question, reads a set of pages, and writes an answer with numbered citations placed after the sentences they support. The sources appear as cards above or beside the answer, in order. The set changes between runs and between similar questions, so one check tells you little; tracking the same prompts over time shows which sources Perplexity keeps returning to.

For every tracked prompt, whether Perplexity named your brand, whether it cited your site, and which numbered source your page was, with the change since the last run. It also lists every other source in the answer and what each was cited for, so you know which pages carried the recommendation.

Two ways, and the tracker shows which one each prompt needs. Where Perplexity cites your page low or not at all, refresh the page it should rely on. Where it cites roundups, reviews or threads that skip you, earn a mention on those pages. Tracking the prompts afterwards shows whether your number moved.

On the schedule you choose: weekly, every two weeks or monthly, with daily runs through the API. You can also run any prompt, or all of them, on demand. Every run is kept, so you can see the week Perplexity started citing a rival's page instead of yours.

Perplexity rebuilds its source list for every answer. New pages get published, others go stale, and the question itself is read slightly differently each time. That's why a single check isn't a ranking. The tracker keeps every run, so you can tell a real move from week-to-week noise.
