Evertune and Mentionova both measure whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI answers name your brand. They split on four things: how many times each prompt is sampled, how many engines one plan covers, whether you buy media from the same tool, and what happens after a gap is found. Every Evertune price, plan limit and feature below was read on evertune.ai on 30 October 2026. Mentionova figures come from our own pricing, docs and product pages, read the same day. We make Mentionova, so this page says plainly where Evertune is the better buy.
What are the key takeaways?
- Evertune now has a $60 Starter plan. It includes 5,000 prompt credits a month, up to 5 models and daily monitoring, plus an Ads Agent billed at 10% of media. Pro is $800 a month billed annually for 100,000 credits on 11 models.
- Mentionova Starter is $125 a month ($99 billed annually) for 25 prompts on 3 engines. Scale is $400 ($320 annually) for 100 prompts on six engines, including Claude and Reddit.
- Evertune wins on measurement rigour. Pro samples each prompt 100 times per model, and Evertune publishes a ±1 point overall margin of error for 100 prompts asked 100 times each.
- Evertune wins on engine count and paid media. It names 11 models and runs ChatGPT ads and AI retargeting. Mentionova tracks six engines and buys no media.
- Mentionova wins on the work after the gap. It scores each gap 0 to 100, writes the brief, drafts the article and pushes it to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Sanity or a webhook for approval, and drafts Reddit replies.
- Mentionova runs weekly, every two weeks or monthly. Evertune monitors daily on every plan.

How much does Evertune cost compared with Mentionova?
Evertune Starter costs $60 a month and Pro costs $800 a month billed annually, with Enterprise on quote. Mentionova Starter costs $125 monthly or $99 annually, Scale $400 or $320, and Enterprise $999 or $799. Evertune's Starter is the cheapest way into either product; Mentionova is cheaper than Evertune Pro at every tier.
| Plan level | Evertune (evertune.ai/pricing, 30 Oct 2026) | Mentionova (monthly / annual) |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | Starter $60/mo: 5,000 prompt credits, up to 5 models, Ads Agent at 10% of media | Starter $125 / $99: 25 prompts, 3 engines, 100 agentic tasks |
| Mid | Pro $800/mo billed annually: 100,000 prompt credits, 11 models, Ads Agent at 8% of media | Scale $400 / $320: 100 prompts, 6 engines, 500 agentic tasks |
| Upper | Enterprise: custom credits, custom ads fee, SSO, unlimited content | Enterprise $999 / $799: 250 prompts, 6 engines, 2,500 agentic tasks |
| Agencies | No agency plan on the pricing page | Launch $250 / $200 (3 client workspaces), Growth $999 / $799 (10 client workspaces) |
Three notes on reading these numbers:
- Evertune sells credits, not prompts. Its pricing calculator multiplies prompts by models by 3 samples a day by 30 days. On that formula, Starter's 5,000 credits cover 11 prompts on all 5 Starter models (4,950 credits), or 55 prompts on one model. Pro's 100,000 credits cover 101 prompts on all 11 models (calculated).
- Evertune's ads fee is a share of media spend, on top of the plan price: 10% on Starter, 8% on Pro.
- Mentionova prices come from our pricing page and plans overview. Every Mentionova plan includes 3 team seats.
For every tool in the category in one table, see AI visibility tool pricing in 2026.
Which AI engines does each tool track?
Evertune names 11 models and runs up to 5 of them on Starter, all 11 on Pro. Mentionova runs 3 engines on Starter and 6 on Scale. Evertune covers Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Meta AI and DeepSeek, which Mentionova does not schedule. Mentionova covers Reddit as an engine, which Evertune does not list.
What each plan can track, as read on 30 October 2026:
- Evertune Starter. ChatGPT Search, Gemini Search, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview and Copilot.
- Evertune Pro and Enterprise. Adds ChatGPT Base, Gemini Base, Meta AI, Claude, Perplexity and DeepSeek, for 11 in total.
- Mentionova Starter. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google.
- Mentionova Scale and above. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google and Reddit.
Two details matter more than the count. First, Evertune Starter has no Perplexity or Claude; both start on Pro. Mentionova Starter has Perplexity, and Claude starts on Scale at $400. Second, Evertune reports base-model answers (what a model knows from training, through direct API access) next to consumer-app answers (what it says after a live web search). Evertune says it is the only platform that reports both. Mentionova records what each engine answers on the run, not a separate base-model view.
If your buyers live in Google AI Mode, Copilot or Meta AI, Evertune covers them and Mentionova does not. If Reddit threads drive the answers in your category, Mentionova tracks them on one plan.
How does each tool sample a prompt, and why does it matter?
Evertune Pro asks each prompt 100 times per model and publishes the error margin that buys. Mentionova does not repeat-sample or publish a margin of error; it runs prompts weekly, every two weeks or monthly and tracks change across runs. Evertune measures a stable rate today; Mentionova measures direction over weeks.
AI answers vary from run to run, so a single answer is one draw from a range. Evertune's methodology page puts numbers on it, from its own analysis of 10,000 responses about running shoes (July 2026):
| Sampling approach (Evertune methodology) | Overall margin of error | Topic-level margin of error |
|---|---|---|
| 100 unique prompts, each asked once | ±9 points | ±31 points |
| 100 unique prompts, each asked 100 times | ±1 point | ±2 points |
On a single prompt, Evertune's example shows the margin at ±44 points after one ask, ±20 after 25 asks and ±10 after 100. That is the strongest case for Evertune: if you report a visibility score to a board and need it to hold up, 100 samples per prompt is a real method. The 100-sample "statistical significance from day 1" line is on Pro and Enterprise, not Starter.
Mentionova takes a different approach. It does not claim a margin of error. It logs eight typed drift events between runs (a mention gained or lost, a position up or down, a changed description, a sentiment shift, a competitor entering or leaving) and rescores every opportunity nightly. The job is "what changed and what do we publish next", not a survey-grade score. For more on why single answers mislead, see AI citation volatility statistics.
What happens after each tool finds a gap?
Both tools turn gaps into content. Evertune's Content Agent writes 25 articles a month on Pro, which you download as Markdown or HTML or copy into your CMS. Mentionova scores each gap 0 to 100, attaches a brief, drafts the article and pushes the draft to your CMS for approval. Evertune adds paid media and affiliate activation on top.
What Evertune does after a gap, per its Act and Advertise pages:
- Content Studio. Pick a topic, review the "ready-to-publish blog posts", then download as Markdown or HTML or copy directly to your CMS. Pro includes 25 articles a month; Enterprise includes unlimited content generation.
- Sources Analysis. Shows the domains and URLs shaping your brand's recommendations and how strongly each influences AI.
- Partner Connect (Pro and above). Pushes top sources to affiliate networks such as impact.com and PartnerStack, then runs programmatic ads through The Trade Desk and Index Exchange.
- Ads Manager Agent. Creates, activates and optimizes paid ChatGPT campaigns inside Evertune.
- Site Audit, Bot Analytics and Fact Checker. Enterprise only.
What Mentionova does after a gap:
- Opportunity scoring. Every night, each opportunity is scored 0 to 100 on gap, reach, effort and heat, with a diagnosis, a specific action and a content brief.
- Brief to draft. The workflow runs brief, research, keywords, article in your brand voice, fact-check, editor, approval and schema.
- CMS delivery. The draft lands in WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Sanity or a webhook. Nothing goes live without you.
- Reddit. Finds the threads your engines cite and drafts a reply in your voice. A person adds the disclosure and posts.
Evertune is stronger when the fix is paid reach or affiliate placement. Mentionova is stronger when the fix is a new page in your CMS and a reply in the thread the engines already cite.
Which tool fits which team?
Pick Evertune if you need survey-grade visibility scores, Google AI Mode and Copilot on a daily schedule, prompt demand data or ChatGPT ads. Pick Mentionova if you want six engines including Reddit, briefs and CMS drafts for every gap, client workspaces, and a 14-day no-card trial on your own prompts.
Choose Evertune if:
- Your report needs a published margin of error. Pro samples each prompt 100 times per model.
- You need Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Meta AI or DeepSeek tracked daily.
- You want prompt demand from a panel. Evertune's EverPanel covers more than 150 million real conversations, and Prompt Volumes is on Pro.
- You plan to buy ChatGPT ads or run AI retargeting from the same tool.
- You sell physical products and want ChatGPT Shopping Insights, which are on every Evertune plan.
- You want a small daily tracker for $60 and can live without Perplexity and Claude.
Choose Mentionova if:
- You want ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google and Reddit on one $400 plan ($320 annual), without an $800 annual contract.
- The bottleneck is writing, not knowing. You want the brief and the CMS draft, not a Markdown file to paste.
- Reddit threads shape answers in your category and you want reply drafts a person can post.
- You run clients and need isolated workspaces with white-label reports, from $250 a month ($200 annual).
- Your own agents need an MCP server (56 tools on every plan) and an API (Scale and above).
- You want 14 days on your own prompts before you pay, with no card.
Where does Mentionova lose to Evertune?
Mentionova loses on sampling rigour, engine breadth, cadence, entry price and paid media. It publishes no repeat sampling or margin of error, runs weekly at most, tracks six engines rather than eleven, starts at $99 annual against Evertune's $60, and has no ads, retargeting, prompt volume or shopping data. Those losses are real.
The losses, plainly:
- No repeat sampling and no margin of error. Evertune Pro asks each prompt 100 times per model. Mentionova does not sample that way.
- No daily runs in the app. Scheduled runs are weekly, every two weeks or monthly. Our tracker page lists daily runs only through the API, which starts on Scale.
- Fewer engines. No scheduled Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Meta AI or DeepSeek.
- Higher entry price. Evertune Starter is $60 a month. Mentionova Starter is $99 annual or $125 monthly.
- No prompt demand data. Evertune sells Prompt Volumes from a 150-million-conversation panel. Mentionova scores opportunities on gap, reach, effort and heat instead.
- No paid media. Mentionova does not run ChatGPT ads, AI retargeting or affiliate activation.
- No base-model view. Mentionova does not split training-data answers from live-search answers.
- No shopping data and no crawler logs. Mentionova attributes AI traffic on pages but does not ingest bot logs.
If a defensible score across every Google AI surface, or paid reach inside ChatGPT, is the job, buy Evertune. We would rather you pick the right tool than cancel in month two.
How do you test Evertune and Mentionova side by side?
Run the same five unbranded buyer prompts in both tools over the same two weeks. Compare mention rate per engine, the sources each tool shows, and how long each takes to give you something you can publish. Evertune's Starter is self-serve at $60, so a one-month overlap costs less than a Mentionova Starter month.
A two-week plan:
- Day 1. Write five unbranded prompts a buyer would type, with no brand names in them. Start the Mentionova trial and add them.
- Day 1. Sign up for Evertune Starter and add the same five prompts on ChatGPT Search, Gemini Search and AI Overview. That is 5 x 3 x 3 x 30 = 1,350 credits, inside the 5,000 included.
- Days 1 to 13. Let both run. Do not edit prompts.
- Day 13. Export mention rate and cited domains per engine from both tools.
- Day 14. Take the biggest gap. Time how long each tool takes to get you to a publishable fix: Evertune's recommended action, or Mentionova's brief and CMS draft.
Expect the numbers to differ: Evertune holds daily data by day 13, Mentionova two weekly runs. Judge direction and output, not decimals. Our Mentionova vs Profound page uses the same test if Profound is also on your list.
