Onboarding (Brand Voice)
Configure your brand's voice, tone, and guidelines so all generated content sounds like you.
What is brand voice?
Your brand voice profile tells Mentionova how to write content that sounds like your brand. It powers article drafts, opportunity briefs, and Reddit reply tones. Set it once, and it's applied everywhere.
Setting up
Go to the Onboarding tab in your workspace. You can set it up two ways:
- Automatic - enter your website URL and Mentionova scrapes your site, analyzes your existing voice, and pre-fills all 16 fields. Review and edit before saving.
- Manual - fill in the fields yourself if you have existing brand guidelines.
What's captured
- Brand guidelines and about section.
- Competitor list.
- Point of view and writing rules.
- Key product features.
- Customer language and terminology.
- Example articles for different formats.
- Internal link library (auto-refreshable).
- Custom fields you define.
Refreshing internal links
When you publish new pages on your site, click Refresh links to pull the updated link list into your brand voice. No need to redo the whole setup.
