What is Mentionova?

What Mentionova tracks, which engines it reads, and how a workspace gets set up.

The loop the product runs: see it, act on it, prove it.

Mentionova tracks how AI search talks about your brand. People ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini which product to buy, which firm to call, which tool to try — and the answer names a few brands and cites a few pages. Mentionova runs those questions on a schedule, records what was said and which sources were cited, and turns the gaps into work.

What Mentionova does

  • Monitoring — your prompts run across the engines your plan covers, and every answer is stored with its mentions, sentiment and cited URLs.
  • Citations — every URL cited in your category, yours and everyone else's, classified and scored.
  • Pages and AI traffic — Search Console and GA4 alongside citation data, so you can see which pages earn answers and which answers earn visits.
  • Opportunities — a nightly scored queue of what to write or fix next, each with a brief.
  • Grids and workflows — the production side: spreadsheet-style pipelines and a visual automation canvas.
  • Reddit engagement and contacts — the threads AI quotes, and the people behind the domains citing your category.

The engines it watches

Four of the channels are answer engines that write prose: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini. Two are different in kind: the Google channel records the organic top ten for a query, and Reddit records the threads that get cited.

Which of the six run depends on your plan. Entry plans (Brands Starter, Agencies Launch) cover ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google; the rest add Claude, Gemini and Reddit. Channels outside your plan are skipped at run time rather than failing.

Google's AI Overviews are fetched on demand through Nova rather than captured on the schedule, and AI Mode isn't captured at all.

Who it's for

Brands tracking one company, and agencies tracking a roster. The two plan lanes differ mainly in how many workspaces you get: the brand lane is one workspace, the agency lane is three, ten or fifty.

How setup works

Setup is a single three-screen wizard: name the brand and its website, check what the research found (category, keywords, competitors), then pick from the 25 prompts it generates and start the first scan. It creates the workspace, its prompts and its first run in one go — covered in setting up your first workspace.

Where you land

Opening a workspace lands on Home — Nova, the agent you can ask for anything in the workspace. Overview is the metrics dashboard one click away, and the sidebar groups the rest under Monitor, Grow, Automate and Content.
